Nightmare


Nightmare is a university VFX short film set in the mind and the world of nightmares. The story follows a creature that invades people's dreams and turns them into nightmares. The main character goes from a happy dream to a terrifying nightmare filled with his worst fears and memories.

I wanted to create a creepy feeling through my filmmaking techniques and use of VFX.

VFX Breakdown


To create the 3D environment for my VFX project "Nightmare", I used Cinema4D (C4D), Octane, NukeX and Substance Painter. The project needed 3D environments (the hallway and graveyard) as well as a lot of compositing and cleanup for the memory lane sequence.

I was responsible for all VFX and filming aspects of this piece.
